Slighty... ok, entirely self-indulgent. I find myself often having in depth revelations/musings about my gaming habits and gaming in general. Rather than simply posting it on random sites and clogging up forums, I figured it would be better to do it in a place where people can more readily ignore me. So without further... um... yeah.
how?

Ok, I'm interested in turning the game I just started eventually into a Game example to be posted here, but I can't figure out how to take a screenshot. I don't want to make an example w/o this feature as it adds depth, interest, and is generally a cool way to show off ships designs.
If someone could solve this dilema for me I would much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

I think you misunderstood, though that will be helpful once I actually reach theposting point. WHat I need to know is how to actually take the in game screenshots. I know this is kind of a newbie question but that's the problem I'm at right now. Thanks again.

Press the printscreen key on your keyboard, then alt-tab or exit the game and paste it in the graphics program of your choice, and save it. Alternately, just use a utility such as FRAPS or Hoversnap that saves screenshots directly to disk when you press the hotkey.

Hit the Print Screen button then open up Paint and Paste the image and then you can edit or crop it to taste. Save it as a .jpg and then go to www.imageshack.us to get it hosted then add it as a image in your post.

Tabing out of the game used to crash the game for me, so be careful. My CPU is slighlty above the recommended CPU. The problem was largely solved when I upgraded from 512MB to 1.5GB RAM.
